About Our Horses

We have 4  Percheron geldings that are used
for wagon rides & also for wedding.
The two teams consist of, grey Percherons:
(Billy & Danny) and two black Percherons:
(Timmy & Max).
Our dogs & puppies are family!

We raise quality  AKC & UKC
dachshunds. We also have a few CKC
registered dogs.
Never neglecting them or putting them in
kennels only to be seen once a day.

They live with us & are given lots of care daily.
We breed only about 4 litters a year.



Making these Doxies a part of our family, we
are able to raise only well socialized pups.
Their temperament,intelligence & conformation
are very important to us.
If we see a problem with any breedings, we will
not breed that Doxie again. We do not breed
just to turn out babies, rather to produce a
good quality doxie.
We offer a 1 year written health guarantee to
protect the buyer from any heartbreaks later.
We focus on their health & temperament first.

About Our Business

Oakley Farm is located in King & Queen Va. Just 1
hour from Richmond, Va. and  2 hrs. from D.C.
The farm is owned by Eric & Debi Oord.

The farm is small, but big in heart having only 40 acres
we try to make the best use of our little farm for our
animals & ourselves.

We own Oakley Farm Carriage Service offering horse
drawn carriage rides for weddings and other occasions.  
 We raise  AKC miniature Dachshunds. We have been
raising Dachshunds for over 20 yrs. Puppies are raised
in home, under foot until they are ready to go to their
new homes. Raised with lots of love from our home
make Oakley Farm Dachshunds wonderful pets!
